In the process of
creating The Royal We, Corporate MF decided
to abandon midi technology and play all the synthesized instruments in
realtime in order to achieve the closest possible effect of a live sound.
The main studio concept was to take the average rock band line-up (guitar/guitar/bass/drums)
and replace it with (synth/synth/bass/drums). In addition, the use of
circuit bent toys and other electronic devices were used to highlight
the songs with extra sonic textures.
