The Royal We has an
"American Psycho" feel to it, like there's posters of corporate
traders with three names that call each other by initials all over the
walls while they're writing and recording this.
- FM SOUND
Dancey, catchy and
lyrically brilliant are the main elements that make up Corporate MF. This
album seems to live up to the name of the band in some ways as it seems
to be bent on politics, corporate structures and society based standards.
- SPACE JUNKIES
Going
public with their debut full-length album The
Royal We, Corporate MF presents 9 tracks of post-punk styled
synthesizer rock with complete disregard for company policies of confidentiality
and savages every aspect of the corporate experience.
Fans
of Trans Am,
Le Tigre, and
I Am Spoonbender,
and those who appreciate the energy and ethics of Fugazi
or Dead Kennedys may enjoy what Corporate
MF has to offer. |
